Hi,

Confirmed.

File downloaded from http://mirror1.ipfire.org/pakfire2/2.15/paks/hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire through 'wget' or via Browser has 306271 Bytes (MD5: c89463156b741d823683d660954a2e9a).

My self-compiled file from 16.01.2015 has 317440 Bytes ( MD5: 647d7ede33389824972ce383210ab0f1) and behaves normally.

I don't know why, it could be that something went wrong during upload to pakfire?

The files on the Pakfire trees are gpg-encrypted with our public key, you have to decode it first.

But keep in mind that manually copied addons are not known in pakfire and so it will not updated...

Support the project on the IPFire whishlist!

You need Pakfires GPG Key which should be presant on your IPFire if you made a download over pakfire before.
Check if it is presant:

Code: Select all

gpg --list-keys

Otherwise the GPG keyservers should also serves it --> 64D96617.
If it is installed,

Code: Select all

cd /opt/pakfire/tmp
curl -O http://mirror1.ipfire.org/pakfire2/2.15/paks/hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire
gpg -o hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire -d hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire
#[File `hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire' exists. Overwrite? (y/N) y]
tar xvf hostapd-2.2-30.ipfire
./install.sh
[CTRL-c] # Sets the console free again

May this helps,

UE

P.S. There are already newer paks lists --> http://mirror1.ipfire.org/pakfire2/2.17.1/paks/
