Re: Green zone down since upgrade 89

Re: Troubleshooting 101 [SOLVED]

Re: Green zone down since upgrade 89

Hi Marvel, after Bebima brought up the martian entries, I figured out my issue.

What is your out put of 'arp -an'?

I think I may be able to tell you how to solve that.. which may solve your networking hanging issue.

Re: Green zone down since upgrade 89

Just a couple questions..
What did you upgrade from?
Was there an issue before you upgraded?
Anything suspicious in /var/log/messages?

Re: Mailserver / Webserver in DMZ or not?

houseofdreams, it's pretty sad the help you are getting here! I had a bit of help getting my DMZ setup, so I am no guru, but if I can help, let me know. Yes, I do port forwarding for my DMZ (mail server, web servers, gaming servers), as well as some SNAT for some some of the services. Services will ...

I should also say that I entered other records in the same way for 180.76.6.0/24 , and both for ports 443 and 80.

Re: Core Update 70 to 77

why does my ipfire only prompt to 77? Because you have Installed on very old version. After update to core77 it switch to the next version tree and update to core86. Thanks Arne, looks like everything went smoothly from 70 to 86. Great product you guys have built here. I'll look to donate in a coup...

Re: Core Update 70 to 77

Thanks Cyber.. helps. I'm not too worried because this is running on a virtual machine where I can take a snapshot.. so can always revert.

Cheers,.. and where's the t-shirt link so that I can make my donation! ;-)
