Hi mates,
I have several situations when the red side stops to comunicate with outer world and the cures are reconnect or reboot. Is there an option to monitor IP addresses and do reconnect or reboot if connection to these IP addresses is lost?

Re: Detected Hardware unit hang
The problem is very old with integrated intel nics.
I found a workaround that still works and needed on such machines:

Re: Suggest Guardian blocked hosts be saved
This feature is a must.
After schedule reboot will free attackers to try router again until the guardian blocks them again.

After a year later in Core 114 the problem still persists, and the cure still works.
Updated the first post.

Re: Two Internet Connections
Normally you can't have more than one gateway on a client machine. Try to set for internet gateway in TCP/IP config the non-IPSec router, them with "route add" add IPSec router as gateway for the remote networks.

Re: e1000e 0000:00:19.0 green0: Detected Hardware Unit Hang: with IPFire 2.19 (x86_64) - Core Update 105
Update: Core 106 doesn't solve the problem. In other thread: http://forum.ipfire.org/viewtopic.php?t=15016 the command "ethtool -K green0 gso off gro off tso off sg off" in the console solves the problem, but is it persistent or i must put it somewhere in a file? Re: e1000e 0000:00:19.0 green0: Detected Hardware Unit Hang: with IPFire 2.19 (x86_64) - Core Update 105
core106 is already build and has no changes on the kernel/drivers. IPFire use the e1000e driver version 3.3.3 and in the release notes of the newer versions are no hints for problems with 82567LM. Normal this is an hardware or interrupt handling (bios) problem and schould fixed by the mainboard man...

Detected Hardware Unit Hang: with Intel Gigabit cards on IPFire 2.19 (x86_64) - Core 103 to 114 WORKAROUND
My adapter is integrated Intel 82567LM-3 It occurs from update to core 105 on 4 different machines so far. Disabling C1 in BIOS not solves the problem. On 10/100 mbps problem is occurring rarely. On gigabit connections the interface is unusable. Is it possible to fix it from core 106 in all future r...
