Re: IDS Rule updater - with rule state persistance

This is the install procedure output from the shell, maybe you can see whats wrong there already. ======================================================...

Re: Test OpenVPN ports in ESXi

Hi, maybe try this: http://portquiz.net:<Port number to be tested> e.g.: http://portquiz.net:1194 If you suspect ipfire is blocking it try running ESXi with the ipfire VM off and maybe install a Ubuntu VM instead temporary to test and to avoid the firewall from blocking. Also, if you cant figure it ...

Re: IDS Rule updater - with rule state persistance

Re: IDS Rule updater - with rule state persistance

Hi TimF, very nice. I am having an issue with the "previous" version on core 123, its not working there anymore. Must the "old" script/install uninstalled first? However i am trying to install this new version now and see how it goes. One more question, Quote: Some name changes to prepare for the sw...

Re: Install on M.2 nvme - not booting

Hello All, i am happy to report that the installation of the latest nightly build of the ipfire .ISO file on to a NVME drive works great now. https://nightly.ipfire.org/next/latest/x86_64/ It seems it is no longer necessary to take the detour to install using the .img file. P.S. have not tried older...

Filesystem full: /dev/sda1 Free=0% !

So far ipfire is still working.

Core 120 not enough space in /boot (sda1)

Hi, i noticed that my /boot folder is almost full after the core update. It used to be somewhat full to begin with but now ipfire will give you a notice because there are only 6% free space left. Not really sure if i can delete any useless files or if there is a way to resize the partition on the fl...
