Re: HTTPS Filterung mit IPFire

Good afternoon everyone A question. What will happen when Squid is updated to 4.7?. Another question. When taking out the modified version in "linuxdoku.bplaced.net", what is the best way to proceed to avoid problems?. Would that be the steps?: 1. Apply the IPFire update. 2. Download the modified ve...

Re: Update to 132 not offered.

Hi SoftGil.

It seems that only the "armv5tel" and "x86_64" versions are updated. The "i586" version is not being updated.

It may be necessary to wait for the repositories to be updated. If after a few days we see that the update does not appear, we will have to comment on it.

Greetings.

Re: DNS ?

Hi gh4wi. No need to do a new installation again. If you access via SSH or connect a monitor and keyboard to the command line of Linux, you can execute the command "setup" and thus, change the values of start of installation. Have a look at the following link, you may find it interesting: https://wi...

Re: Block a range of Ip adresses.

Good afternoon zimbodel. This works for me: Bad Countries01.png And the group "Bad Countries" is this (I have not put everything): Bad Countries02.png Maybe it would be to create objects in "Firewall -> Firewall Groups -> Networks" and then, these objects group them in "Network/Host group" and inste...

Re: Ipfstatusmail (Status emails for IPFire)

I also get errors but it works for me. Have you tried other programming ?. You have verified that your mail server is not detecting it as spam, right? I tell you this since I sometimes detect it as spam and the error appears in the log. TimF commented that they were going to remove it as an addon, I...

Re: DNS ?

Hi gh4wi. Let's see if I explain. First, what DNSs do you have? Who is your provider? Well, I'll tell you. When during the installation of the IPFire, there is a screen that defines the gateway and the DNSs. These are so that the IPFire can surf the Internet. You can also use the PCs, for this, when...

Re: Ipfstatusmail (Status emails for IPFire)

Looks good. We will have to start looking at Logs. Tell us what you see in: Logs --> System Logs --> Mail Also if you have a message attached in: /var/spool/dma/ Possible errors in: /var/log/httpd/error_log Execute what TimF said in his day to see problems: As for not getting expected information, y...

Re: Ipfstatusmail (Status emails for IPFire)

Hi skyfighter and LouR. It works for me. I tell you how. I put some screenshots since an image is better than a thousand words: Important!!!, you have to check the box, otherwise it does not work. Informes01.jpg Later, when the task is configured, it is necessary to mark to whom it is addressed, if ...

Re: Ipfstatusmail (Status emails for IPFire)

Hi TimF. Sorry to communicate that it does not work. Before, he did not send anything from Suricata (but at least he sent something), but now he sends nothing. I commented: I have executed the installer on the installation I had and nothing. I have uninstalled everything, deleting all the folders an...

Re: Ipfstatusmail (Status emails for IPFire)

Hi TimF. I have reinstalled using the NEXT and the plugin for Suricata appears correctly, but when I launch the task to make the report, nothing related to the IDS / IPS appears. I have executed the following and this error appears: [root@bs statusmail]# ./test_plugin.pl /usr/lib/statusmail/plugins/...

Re: ethernet card mode

Buenas tardes Sergio.

Maybe you have the wrong network cable. Have you tried with another ?.

Also check that the network card connector is correct. I more than once have found the internal connectors bent.

If not, maybe the network card is wrong. Try another one.

You will tell us.

Greetings.

Re: ethernet card mode

Good Morning I would check that one of the extremes goes to 100 instead of Giga. To do this, via SSH you put the command "ethtool (interface)" For example: To see the RED. ethtool red0 Something like that has to appear to you. [root@bs ~]# ethtool red0 Settings for red0: Supported ports: [ TP ] Supp...

Re: Core 131 testing - upgraded Core 130

Hi fkienker.

Maybe it will be solved reinstalling the Core131. To do this, from SSH, execute this:

Code: Select all

echo '130' > /opt/pakfire/db/core/mine &&
pakfire update --force &&
pakfire upgrade
And try it later.

Tell us something.

Greetings.
