Guardian with other sofware's systemlog?

Hi I have a mailserver that has the possibillity to export a sysvol log of the internal security logs (hacking attempts). Is it possible for Ipfire to "connect" the guardian to read the contents of this log, and add offending IP addresses to the guardian database? The mailserver (Kerio Connect) has ...

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green) [Solved]

I will try to have a look at your configuration and compare it to mine...

As I understand, you don't use the BLUE wifi option from IPFire to connect your wireless devices?

Re: Hundreds of connections?

It just seems suspicious to me... All IP's are in Brazil, and I'm located in Belgium. I know a webserver also creates outgoing connections, but all to the same region? I'm running iftop at the moment on the server itself, and I don't see any of those connections listed there. The server itself is al...

Hundreds of connections?

Hi.. I noticed this in the connections listview of IPFire, all to the same outside network. Is this something I need to worry about? This looks like some kind of hacking attempt?

10.10.11.2 is my webserver.

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

Will give it a try later on, but I'm getting the idea that this just isn't possible (according to other forums).

I will keep you updated :)

And with transmitter you mean the sonos player itself? This is in the green network

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

Or I still am doing something wrong, or this just isn't working... Still no connection to and from the Sonos from the blue network. And the can "see" eachother, because a simple ping works... What I also don't understand, is why the SSDP searches for this address as it's destination 8-11-2016 14-34-...

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

Hi! There is nothing you can make wrong so far. If it is not working, you can deinstall igmpproxy and nothing has happened. Give it a try. First install igmpproxy and edit the file "/etc/IGMPPROXY.CONF". ##------------------------------------------------------ ## Enable Quickleave mode (Sends Leave...

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

http://wiki.ipfire.org/en/configuration/network/bridge-green-blue could be another choice - combine blue and green together, if no need to be separate Is a possibillity, but this gives extra security risks, as all wireless users then have full access to the LAN. So this has to be a final solution :-\

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

Hi! I never found a way to make multicast cross between 2 different networks (with ipv6 it did) The igmpproxy can do this. Maybe a solution? I'm a logical person, but I don't have enough knowledge of this multicast stuff to get this to work.. I'm also afraid to do something wrong and ruin my curren...

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

You could put the sonos controller on Blue, pinhole management back to Green. I did the equivalent with the Draytek This I don't understand. The whole point is that this shouldn't be working because blue & green are on different subnets? I currently have this setup like you say. Controllers(phones)...

Re: Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green)

I think you'll find the issue lies in that sonos uses multicast to find speakers, which won't traverse 2 separate lans - i tried to get this to work on a draytek vigor2860 - only time i got it to work was using ipv6 If you google about sonos, multicast and different LAN's you see people having the ...

Ipfire with Sonos (apps not connecting from Blue -> Green) [Solved]

GeoIP not working

Hi, I added some countries to the GeoIP list (to block) but it doesn't seem to work... I does say to reload the firewall rules, which I did.

Am I doing something wrong?

Kind regards
