Re: unbound - DoT

FYI concerning the video - near 4:29 it runs test_tls.sh and it is not included with the dot_in-uninstaller.sh . I added test_tls.sh but it errors with: kdig is required but it's not installed. Aborting. I am guessing other pakfire add-ons or other programs are needed. I see a reference to knot abov...

Re: Support for Raspberry Pi 3B+

A little more info:
This seems to happen with one Dell keyboard so far. Changing keyboards will cause the issue to disappear.

Enclosed is the output of dmesg -w. Look at [ 217.993749]. Hopefully it is helpful.

Re: Support for Raspberry Pi 3B+

Arne - In the past I've always run the RPI3b+ in the serial console mode and all seemed to run OK. Yesterday I added a Dell USB keyboard and I saw this: Jan 20 15:40:19 ipfire-rpi3bplus-he126 ntpd[2254]: new interface(s) found: waking up resolver Jan 20 15:41:44 ipfire-rpi3bplus-he126 kernel: usb 1-...

Re: Support for Raspberry Pi 3B+

Arne - the highly-experimental/rpi-crash version is up & running on a RPI3B+! EDIT : My setup: • Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ • IPFire 2.21 (armv5tel) - Core Update 126-dirty • green = Onboard LAN ethernet port - Standard Microsystems Corp. SMSC9512/9514 Fast Ethernet Adapter • red = USB-to-Ethernet adap...

Re: Support for Raspberry Pi 3B+

@Challenger - I went from a red/green setup to a red/green/blue setup and I don't see the same errors. (disclaimer - I am not one of the experts. I am just a user like you). My setup: • Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ • IPFire 2.21 (armv5tel) - Core Update 126 • green = Onboard LAN ethernet port - Standard ...

Re: Support for Raspberry Pi 3B+

@Challenger - I haven't tried the blue interface yet but maybe in the next week or so I'll have some time. Everyone - I am curious if anyone else has tried the RPI3B+ or RPI3B with IPFire 2.21 (armv5tel) - Core Update 126 . I've run the RPI3B for a week and the RPI3B+ for almost a week and both seem...

I had been check the time. but still could not get list. . . . [root@gfw ~]# date Thu Jan 10 22:48:21 CST 2019 . . . [root@gfw ~]# date Thu Jan 10 14:54:15 UCT 2019 . . . I was curious about the results of the date command. One date is CST (central US) and one is UCT (unknown). What is the correct ...

Re: Kernel Panic on RPi3b

I've been using a RPi3b for the past few weeks. And I just started experimenting with the RPi3b+. Only with red/green. I've had no kernel panics and no lockups. I tried an RPi2b but it seemed a bit slow to me. I have read some usb-to-ethernet adapters do cause issues. And I have one usb-to-ethernet ...

chubeez -

On your Raspberry Pi 3B+, do you load the armv5tel images? or the aarch64 images?

Re: Problems update Guardian 2.0.2

Think I found the fix to this. After many uninstalls reinstalls, service stop and starts with no success in getting guardian working again.. Until in Guardian Configuration interface, I set "monitor snort alert file" to OFF, then save setting, then set "monitor snort alert file" to ON and save sett...

Proxy Conventional Mode setup

Another noob question : I am trying to setup the proxy in the Conventional/non-Transparent mode and I'm not understanding what I've read on the various wiki pages. I thought I had come across a beginners guide in the forum but I am unable to locate it. I'm using IPFire 2.21 Core Update 125. I start...

what is 2gb-ext4?

Noob question: With the various builds I see a file name that includes 2gb-ext4 (and is compressed) and one filename without 2gb-ext4 . Is this an image specifically for a 2GB SD card? Screen Shot 2018-12-18 at 12.39.01 PM.png I searched through the wiki and the forum but didn't find an answer...
