Gigabyte GA-J1900-D3V off ebay. 2 ethernet onboard. Downside is you need a mini-pcie adapter for a pcie x1 card or use the pci slot. Mine is becoming a NAS.

I have put accept rules in for a specific ip on blue i want to access to and from green. i have green to ip accept and ip to green accept, but no access. what am i missing?

So now i have VDSL. If i change the HG659b modem to bridged or disable nat, i loose internet connection at the modem. It says connecting and if it does, theres still no internet. i can access the modem thru ipfire still. Is there anything else i'm missing? Does red need to be changed to PPPoE when t...

This modem won't allow bridged on ADSL, I have VDSL Monday which it will let me bridge on. Fibre was to be available today, but its now 2 months away. >:(

We are on ADSL for the next month or so. The HG659b won't spport brdged mode on that connection type it says. I will swap it over when we goto fibre.

please clarify which ip it is. IPFire reports the internet on 192.168.1.68, everything else is shown above.

Got it working (i think). changed dns for dhcp server of green and blue to 192.168.2.1, network proxy's to transparent. Updated drawing.
