The builtin ethernet card turned out to be the cause of the problem. Added a new card and reconfigured the red0 zone, IPSec has been running without ANY interruptions for 2 days.

I may have found the source of the problem...... and it has nothing to do with IPSec. Both installations are deployed on an HP 6200 SFF. In both cases I am using the builtin ethernet for the red0. I was looking at some of the threads in this forum and I came across one that pointed to a hardware pro...

Chris As it turns out, I had the EXACT same problem a few days ago. FIX: I am a Verizon FIOS customer and Verizon's DNS are not DNSSEC. So, you have 2 options 1) Change the DNS primary and secondary (Network -> Assign DNS server) to a set that is DNSSEC. You can check https://wiki.ipfire.org/dns/pub...

I have migrated 2 implementations of IPCOP over to IPFire. Almost everything is working.
