DMZ servers not accessible from internet

Post by jonah » September 4th, 2015, 2:12 pm

This may be a dumb question but it was to my understanding that any servers on the DMZ would be publicly accessible on the outside of LAN. Under current configuration I have a Windows server on the orange network, and I can access it from my laptop on the green network but not on a computer on the internet.

Is there some sort of firewall rules I have to make to allow connections to the DMZ?

You still have to set up port fwds to the server you want traffic to reach.

Hi all,
in here --> http://wiki.ipfire.org/en/configuration ... r_on_green you can find an example for a destination NAT, this example translates an address into the green zone, but if you set the "Firewall-Interface" to automatic (or even orange) and if you define the appropriate host IP address in orange for the destination this should also work for your setup.
