squid 4.5 on HTTPS on Ipfire 127

Post by donaldo » January 21st, 2019, 2:47 pm

Hi to everybody
I have a question for the next IPFire 127: is the squid 4.5 capable to use and filter the https page ?
So the blacklist is capable to block the dangerous site in https.

Thanks

Donatello

The web proxy has always been able to filter HTTPS requests.

:o wow, it work, and so good, in transparent mode and with the proxy setting
The shalla blacklist, for not knowing reason, isn't updating every week (470 weeks old). i have forced it and unset and set again the Enable automatic update. i hope now all work

thanks
