How can I use DNS only on the Green.

Post by francisS » January 29th, 2019, 9:03 am

Hello,

I have my DNS's on a local network (green) but that does not work. When unbound start there is a problem to access the DNSs and unbound start in "local recursor" (the firewall can resolve Internet but not the local networks).

I tried to configure the firewall as a client of my DNS, I disabled unbound by setting en "exit" in the file "/etc/sysconfig/unbound" that work no more unbound, but the script /etc/init.d/localnet hard code "127.0.0.1" as a DNS.

I do not want to use my FAI or Internet DNS on the firewall, how can I use unbound with only Internal DNS or set the firewall as client of the internal DNS ?

Best regards.

Francis
