Blue nachträglich einbinden / hostapd

Hallo,

ich möchte nachträglich ein mPCIe WLAN-Karte in meinem ipfire hinzufügen. Dazu habe ich vorher die Kompatibiltät der Karte im wiki geprüft.

Nachdem ich die Karte verbaut hatte, habe ich mit "setup" Die Netzkonfig von Green-Red-Orange auf Green-Red-Orange-Blue geändert. Leider scheint die Karte nicht erkannt zu werden.

Aber ein: grep DRIVER /sys/class/net/*/uevent bringt NIX!

Als scheinbar werden die Treiber nicht geladen. Kann ich das manuell anstoßen?
hostapd findet die Karte auch nicht (sie wird ja schon im setup nicht erkannt).

Ich sehe 4 x Gbit lan aber keinerlei erkannte Wlan Karte. Sprich Linux sieht sie nicht und somit auch kein Treiber.

Genau, 4xGbit/LAN ist korrekt (onboard)...dann fehlt die WLANCard! Normalerweise sollte das eine WLAN-Karte mit kompatiblen Chipsatz sein... aber scheinbar wurde ich hier reingelegt (ebay) 

In der Hardwareliste im wiki steht nämlich ID8086 als Intel Chipsatz und größtenteils "not supported".

Das sollte aber eigentlich eine mit Atheros Chip sein... muss ich wohl ne neue Karte kaufen?!

Für mich stellt sich die Frage, warum sie nicht aufgelistet wird.

Also egal ob es einen Treiber gibt oder nicht Linux muss die Karte erst einmal sehen, tut es aber nicht.

Es gibt leider Boards wo das kein echter mPCI-Steckplatz ist, sondern mSATA oder irgendwas mit USB.
Schaue nochmal genau in die Beschreibung…

Ne, das ist sicher eine richtige mPCIe Schnittstelle.

Ja, ich hab es auch gebraucht gekauft... Mit dem Strom hast du natürlich Recht, aber ich fahr dafür ein altes (günstiges) Auto
