Asterisk installation dependency download failure

Post by callifo » July 6th, 2019, 11:10 am

Hi, I've just moved from a 32bit install, to the x64_86 build and can't reinstall asterisk. It attempts to download the jansson dependency, but there is no metadata for it, so it fails. The package is there, but no metadata to accompany it, which is what pakfire reports.

Code: Select all

Jul 6 20:37:59 ipfire pakfire: DOWNLOAD STARTED: meta/meta-jansson

I had asterisk previously installed but I suspect that it probably had the dependency already installed.

Run "pakfire update" to update the packetlist (and hope you get it from an up-to-date mirror)
Asterisk-13.18.5-26 has no jansson dependency anymore because suricata needs also jansson so was moved to core and is always installed.

Hi Arne, that's fixed it, but I did that at least a dozen times a few days back after reinstalling and couldn't get it to resolve. Not sure why it's run normally now.

Thanks
