Accessibility via internet ( Orange zone )

Post by asche » February 12th, 2018, 12:31 pm

Hi Folks,
after installation and setup my ip fire, I struggle with the accessibilty for my NAS in the DMZ ( Orange zone ).

I use the follwoing configuration :

Red zone : gets the IP from my Fritzbox, in this case : 192.168.178.0/24
the green zone has : 10.1.1.0/24 ( activ DHCP )
the orange ( DMZ ) : 10.1.10.0/24 ( no DHCP ), NAS manually configured in the Subnet from the Orange zone
The Orange Zone is reachable from devives from the green zone.
On my fritzbox 7490 is an DYN DNS activ , I still do not know which port etc I have to forward on the Fritzbox and the IP Fire. My understanding is, that I have to cerate a rule within my Fritzbox and then on the fire, but how ?

I asked the same question in the german area, unfortunately I received no answer.
Many thx
asche

You should try and see if you can configure your Fritzbox in bridge mode, so you can do without double NAT.
Then, your IPFIRe RED interface will get the public IP and from there on, you can easily create a port forward.

Hi Thomas,
you did not receive answers in the german area?
Looks different to me and finally you even posted "problem solved" ::)
Next try in english? By the way, helpful Screenshots are still missing.
