using DHCP with my own DNS settings

Post by randomaustralian » June 11th, 2018, 9:50 am

Evening,

Trying to work out how to keep my DHCP assigned IP address settings and gateway, but entering 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 as my primary and secondary dns.

I have tried it through the CLI setup, but the GUI still reports to only use my isp DNS servers

is this possible without manual file manipulation

would an outgoing firewall rule work to redirect all DNS traffic to where I want it to go?
